Charlotte, born into an artistic family, has been surrounded by creativity throughout her life. Her passion for fashion led her to start creating clothes at a young age, and she made the decision to pursue a career in the fashion industry during her early teens.

After graduating with a fashion degree from UCA in Rochester, Kent, at the age of 21, Charlotte's talent was recognised when she was chosen to showcase her end-of-year collection at London Fashion Week.Her collection received a nomination for River Island's Gold Award.​

​This led her into a successful career as a freelance designer based in London, with opportunities to travel internationally.

Charlotte dedicated her free time to studying at St Martins College in London, progressing onto a Master of Arts in Fashion Atelier. Inspired by her love for the subtle tones and romanticism of bridal fashion, she made the decision to return to Kent and establish her own bridal company, Alexander Sharpe Bridal.

The award winning bridal studio specialises in luxury bridal alterations and custom bridal designed additions. With a small but highly skilled team of seamstresses boasting over 35 years of combined industry experience, ​​​​​​
Roxanne - Seamstress
'Rox' is always working hard behind the scenes.
​
Roxanne grew up with her grandmother, also a seamstress, which instilled a passion for sewing from an early age. Under her guidance, Roxanne began crafting small items like purses and cushions, eventually progressing to clothing and other creative projects. After finishing sixth form, she pursued an apprenticeship to deepen her skills and learn how to produce garments to industry standards, bringing diverse designs to life.
Later moving into the bridal industry with many years as a seamstress behind her, she loves to take on a zip alteration and anything out of the ordinary to get her thinking about how to achieve the desired look. Alongside sewing she is always experimenting with her love for baking, frequently sharing her creations with family and friends.
Alexander Sharpe Bridal are committed to the art and craft of dressmaking, offering apprenticeships and training whilst expanding their team. They are always on the lookout for talented bridal experts to join their team, please get in touch.
